Hand Painted Kitchen Tipton, West Midlands
This beautiful oak kitchen, nestled in a charming home in Tipton, was an absolute pleasure to work on - especially since it was just a short ten-minute drive away from my own home.
It was the perfect example of an "Oak to Bespoke" project, which is always a delight for me. My clients have enjoyed this kitchen for over a decade, and it has served them well. The solid oak doors were in pristine condition, and the oak veneered cabinets showed minimal wear. Considering it had been the heart of a busy family home for so long, it had aged remarkably well!
Kitchens from this era are often incredibly well-built, and it’s hard to find a manufacturer today that can create a solid oak kitchen of this quality at a similar price point to what was paid when it was originally installed.
That’s where I came in. As a Master Kitchen Painter, I specialise in breathing new life into kitchens. Whether it's revitalising a well-loved space and creating a completely bespoke look, I can transform any kitchen by hand-painting surfaces to create a fresh, modern feel.
For this project, I worked closely with my clients to choose a colour that reflected their taste and brought a modern twist to their kitchen. After some thoughtful discussions, we settled on this stunning shade from Farrow & Ball. The transformation it made to the space was incredible, instantly giving the kitchen a more contemporary vibe.

Martin has just finished painting our kitchen cupboards. They are oak and we had them fitted 17 years ago but are very good quality so wanted to keep them.
