Hand Painted Kitchen Stanley, Staffordshire

I'm very grateful to say that this is the second time that I have transformed this kitchen. 

The first saw it transformed from a tired pine handmade kitchen to a light grey hand-painted beauty. Time goes by, tastes change, and (sometimes) clients get a little "braver" with their colour schemes—which I love! In this instance, my clients wanted their kitchen to be more of an expression of their personality. They have a cool, eclectic style, and this new look fits them to a tee. I can't wait to see what it looks like once they have taken a little time to dress it with their artwork and objects.

Kitchens are far more than utility spaces. They are the heart of your home and perhaps the room where you spend the majority of your time—treat them accordingly. Make them a place that you want to be in, inject some fun, and put your stamp upon them!

One of the services that I am very happy to offer is helping with your colour choice. I've said it many times before, kitchen cabinets are large pieces of furniture that can often dominate the kitchen area. Colour has a massive effect on whether the units are seen to recede into the walls or jump to the foregroup.   I find that some clients are quite confident with colour and are happy to tell me what colour they would like me to use. Whilst others may need a little (or a lot) more help in making a choice that is right for them. I have design-based Degrees and have worked with colour all of my life. I can make my recommendations, show options and talk through considerations that need to be made in order for you to make a choice that you are comfortable with. I offer this free of charge as part of the project!
