Hand Painted Kitchen Shrewsbury - Shropshire
There can be many reasons for wanting your existing kitchen Hand Painted. This project is an example of how your existing kitchen can be reconfigured and updated to fit into a new extension.Sitting on the banks of the River Severn, this Beautiful Victorian home had been treated to a fabulous kitchen/diner extension – incorporating bi-folding doors, solid oak floor and a high raked ceiling creating a wonderful sense of space for a perfect family living/entertaining zone – we must say that we were extremely envious!
The kitchen cabinets that we Hand Painted had been repurposed from the original kitchen and moved into the new extension. Originally a very aged “yellow/cream” hue, we thoroughly degreased, filled, sanded and Hand Painted with two coats of a high adhesion oil-based primer tinted to the topcoat colour, followed by two further topcoats of a water-based finish.
What a transformation, the kitchen now looks sooooo designer and gives a real bespoke feel.
Our clients couldn’t believe what a difference that we made to the space – just by being a little brave with colour and “going for it!”.
We had a great time with these clients and can honestly say that we couldn’t wish for better… long may they enjoy their beautiful new extension and Hand Painted Kitchen.
